COVID-19 BOOKING POLICY & MEASURES

As a result of the travel restrictions and the difficulties guests are having due to Covid-19, we have adjusted our booking policies and introduced increased flexibility. We continue to monitor the situation and this may result in a change to the policy below.

Covid-19 Booking Policy

If you are unable to travel to the location of your booking as a result of a Covid-19 related reason (e.g. government travel restriction, flight cancellation or border closures) you have the following options:

  1. You can reschedule your booking without a fee for alternative dates in 2020 or 2021. Payments you have made to us will be transferred to your new booking.
  2. If you haven’t decided on dates to reschedule your booking, you will receive a credit for all payments made to us which you can use towards a future booking for departure in 2020 or 2021.
  3. If your new booking is for a more expensive yacht you must pay the price difference between your original and new bookings. If your new booking is a less expensive yacht we cannot refund you for the price difference between your original and new bookings.
  4. When rescheduling a booking, new booking dates will be subject to the pricing in force at the time of rescheduling.

Payment schedules set out at the time of making a booking apply until either:

  1. We cancel/postpone your booking because we are unable to deliver it due to Covid-19.
  2. You cancel/postpone your booking because you are unable to travel to the location of your booking due to a Covid-19 related reason.

After 1 or 2 occur, we will provide you with updated payments schedules.

Covid-19 Measures

The health and wellbeing of our guests and staff are paramount. Our yacht suppliers are taking Covid-19 measures that have been designed with the recommendations set out by the World Health Organization (WHO) and European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). These measures aim to minimise contact with their staff while ensuring you have all you need for an enjoyable vacation. More information.

FAQ

Can I postpone my trip?

We are working closely our local suppliers to provide you with the flexibility to postpone bookings to a later date. Where bookings have been postponed we have contacted you directly with your options. The cancellation charges outlined on your original booking will still apply should you wish to cancel instead. If you postpone, you may also have flights to rearrange. Many airlines have introduced new flexible date changing options so please check with them to find out your options.

I no longer want to travel. Can I cancel and get a refund?

If you have not been told otherwise, your booking is currently going ahead as planned. Therefore the cancellation policy found on your booking will apply which may mean you incur a fee to cancel.

When will I know if my booking has been postponed?

If there is a travel ban, border closure or advise against all but essential travel in your destination and we have no choice but to postpone the trip, we will contact you. Advice is changing on a daily basis and we are monitoring it constantly. We suggest you also get in touch with your insurers to confirm if they can help cover any other costs you may have incurred as a result of this.

What happens if my flights are cancelled but my booking is still going ahead?

First of all you should contact the airline to confirm the options available to you, including alternative flights and/or refunds. We understand how frustrating this can be. Should you not be able to get to your booking, the cancellation policy found on your booking will apply. You should also contact your airline and your insurance company to confirm the compensation options available.

Do I have still have to make payments to future bookings?

Unless we have informed you that your booking is not going ahead, please follow the payment instructions according to your payment plan as normal. If you wish to cancel or postpone your trip, you can review your options and contact our team to help with this.

Should I take out travel insurance?

You should also always take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance as soon as you book with us, and it is a condition under our terms and conditions that you do so.
